Who We Help

We work with clients whose business, investments or family no longer sit in one country. Some are companies opening a UAE base. Others are entrepreneurs forming a UAE company, or families organizing wealth, succession and governance across several jurisdictions. Many reach us through the banks, trustees, lawyers and accountants who already advise them.

Each market below has its own section, written for the questions clients from that country tend to bring, and for the advisers they work with there.

Markets We Work With

Choose your market to see how we support clients from that country.

United States

US companies, entrepreneurs and families with UAE business, investment or family office plans, coordinated with their US lawyers and CPAs.

Egypt

Egyptian entrepreneurs, investors and families setting up a UAE company, residency or wealth structure, working alongside their advisers in Egypt.

Morocco

Moroccan companies, entrepreneurs and families, with UAE plans built around the exchange-control route that applies to them.

Asia

Internationally active families, entrepreneurs and family offices in Singapore, Hong Kong, China and India.

Our Role for International Clients

WTA is a Dubai-based advisory firm providing UAE and international wealth, corporate and family office services. WTA is part of a wider international group that includes regulated professional services firms, providing access to significant capabilities across the UK and European markets. Where jurisdiction-specific legal, tax or regulated advice is required outside the UAE, WTA works with the client’s existing advisers or other appropriately qualified and licensed advisers in the relevant jurisdiction.

We start with what the client is trying to achieve, then look at whether the UAE has a part to play. Where it does, our work can cover:

Wealth and corporate structuring

Organizing family and business wealth so it is clear and workable across countries.

Family office, succession and governance

How a family holds, manages and passes on its wealth, and how it makes decisions together.

Fiduciary and trust coordination

Working with existing trustees and fiduciaries, and coordinating new arrangements where appropriate.

UAE companies and regional bases

Company formation, licensing and market entry for businesses with a genuine UAE need.

UAE residence

Residence options for individuals and families who intend to spend time in the UAE.

Implementation and administration

Putting agreed plans in place and keeping them running.

Not every client needs a UAE presence, and we say so when that is the case.

Working With Your Advisers

We support properly structured, transparent and compliant arrangements, working alongside the client’s existing professional advisers where appropriate. We advise on UAE matters and help coordinate the wider plan, while legal, tax and regulatory advice for each country remains with appropriately qualified advisers there. Clients keep their existing advisers at home.

For Advisers Referring Clients

We work with private banks, trustees, family offices, lawyers, accountants and tax advisers whose clients have interests in the UAE or across several jurisdictions. We keep you informed throughout and respect your existing relationship with the client.

Clients From Other Countries

Our country sections cover the markets where we have built dedicated guidance so far. We also advise clients from other countries. If your market is not listed, get in touch and a senior adviser will explain how we could help.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to live in the UAE to work with WTA?

No. Many plans involve a UAE company, structure or investment without anyone moving. A UAE presence is one possible part of a plan, not a requirement.

Do you advise on the law or tax of my home country?

No. We advise on UAE matters and coordinate the wider plan. Advice on your home country’s law, tax and regulation stays with qualified advisers there, and we work alongside them.

My country does not have its own section. Can you still help?

Yes. The sections above cover markets where we have published dedicated guidance. We also advise clients from other countries, so tell us where you are based and what you are planning.

Discuss your international plans with a senior adviser.

Tell us where you are based and what your family or business is trying to achieve. We will explain how we could help and how we would work with your existing advisers.
